Domestic Partner Benefits
The 2017-2019 state budget will eliminate the Chapter 40 domestic benefit program for Department of Employee Trust Fund (ETF)-administered benefits for state of Wisconsin employees. Dane County allows same gender same gender and opposite gender domestic partners to register, though the documentation from a county registration will no longer allow state employees to enroll their domestic partner in ETF administered state benefits.
